The ErgoStack 2500 is an automatic stacking machine specifically designed for efficiently stacking short, thin, and profiled workpieces that pose challenges for traditional stacking methods. It incorporates motorized length adjustment capabilities, which are controlled by a positioning encoder and a controller accordingly the working length.
Operating the ErgoStack 2500 is made user-friendly through its intuitive touch screen interface. The machine offers different modes for stacking, including standard stacking and brick-type stacking. Users can also set the desired number of layers before applying sticks. Fine-tuning settings and error states accessible through the interface. Additionally, the stacker is equipped with troubleshooting capabilities accessible via an internet connection.
To ensure the stability of short workpieces during traverse movement, the ErgoStack 2500 employs a combination of cross feed shovels and a short conveyor with a reference lineal. This configuration guarantees straight movement during the collection of each layer at the chain hooks, maintaining the integrity of the layer and therefore stack itself.
